About me
Who is EJ Portfolio?
How did I start?
My interest in programming began in primary school, around 2013. Together with friends, I enjoyed the computer game GTA. We created our own game server: a role-playing game where players could act out situations similar to real life. To make the server work, I started teaching myself programming and writing code for its features.
I soon realised that a server alone was not enough: we also needed a website where users could register, apply for virtual jobs and communicate. Until around 2016, I spent increasingly more time on programming and web development.
Over time, the websites became more complex. I moved beyond static pages and started developing systems with databases, user registration, authentication and various automated features. This helped me understand that web development can be much more than a visual website: it can become a practical tool that makes everyday work easier.
At work, I noticed that many processes were still manual. Technology could make some of them much more convenient. So I created my own system to save time and simplify everyday work.
Since 2024, I have increasingly helped businesses and people I know develop websites, automation and custom systems, aiming to simplify work, reduce manual processes and save time.
In almost every job I encounter, I notice processes that could be automated or made easier. This interest first led me to create the EJ Portfolio Facebook page, and now I have also created my own website to bring together my projects, skills and the solutions I can offer others.
What have I built?
Over the years, I have developed various web projects, custom systems and automation — from company websites to booking, administration and internal work systems. I have worked with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and REST API, building user registration and authentication, administration panels, bookings, document generation, email and Telegram notifications, and various automations. I am particularly interested in solutions that reduce manual work and save time.
My goals
My goal is to help businesses and individuals turn ideas into practical digital solutions. Before development, I try to understand what needs to be built and how the process can become simpler and more efficient.
